I have often joked that now I am a scoutmaster I can tell my wife “Hun, I am so sorry but I have to go camping this weekend with those darn boy scouts, and yes I will probably have to go fishing too.” It is a tough life, but I figured someone had to do it.
Well I must say this week is giving me cause to ponder if being a scout master is really worth having an excuse to fish.
I took the picture above on Monday Morning at sunrise, and of course tweaked it a little in Photoshop.
You may say “what a great opportunity to watch the sunrise come up over a beautiful lake”, and normally I would agree. However sunrise comes a little early when you don’t get to sleep until about 2:00 in the morning due to a bunch of insomniac boy scouts who insist that drinking Red Bull doesn’t effect them.

I love your pictures! BTW I was recently called to be the YW president but since they are going to camp on July 14th, I don't have to go. I'll be in Hawaii while the girls are sweating in a Louisiana camp! I am not going to complain!
