Deeper still…
Prying
Trying
But the Heart won’t tell.
Digging deeper know, to find the soul
Perhaps ‘tis there, the answers hold
Wishing
Wondering
But unknowing still…
Wanting
Yearning
The glass to fill.
No reason now, for a tear stained eye
Yet something there must cause the cry
Kneeling
Praying
A heart to mend
Wanting
Yearning
To laugh again.
